Very fine example of a Caleb Vincent, Ohio rifle! Condition appears to be as good as one could ever hope for. And, this rifle has a cap box which sets it apart from most of the pieces he made, that I have seen. With box, or without, he made a very good gun that would give excellent service, and last a long time.

Yes, yet another fine representation of the Vincent family's workmanship.  You almost need to hold one of these rifles in your hands to appreciate the crisp architecture.
