Comments:

This is a nice rifle from a maker (actually a family) that we don't see a lot of work from. This gun appears to be a mid 1800s piece that is made in accordance with the standards applied at that time. It is very well made and has fine stock wood, a nicely engraved inlay on the oval
and the gun is in fine condition. The patchbox is especially nice on the gun and the overall condition is quite good.


There is no mistaking a Kopp rifle, by either Andrew of George. It will be great to see multiple examples and to see variations in detail.
