Back up and take a look at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/remark You can follow the link to his hobbys and workshop and see that he does use a lot of tools. Maybe not the ones he makes. I wonder that he has time for anything else.

There is more to life than guns, guys. ;D
For some folks it's all about the tools, for others, they are merely a means to an end.
Thanks for the compliments, George, but I can't take credit for the tools. It's someone's website a friend sent me.

This guy made a small router that might be the ticket for inlaying, lock recesses, sideplate pocket clearing, etc.

Gotta admire the guy. If you didn't have it back then you made it. I'm just jealous I don't have the time to make such elaborate looking tools. I like looking at old tools and how they used them. I think I spent over an hour at Williamsburg just watching guys making furniture. Made the wife mad but she got over it.

Only an hour? I lost four hrs in the gunshop including the wife. Found her later that day. Said she figured as much and knew where to find me. She would would not have been as upset if I would have noticed when she left though. ::)

There is more to life than guns, I just havent figured out what it is yet. As for the tools, they are great but I just cant see putting that much time into a tool when I could be working on a gun instead. A tool being a piece of art doesnt make the work piece come out better, so I would put the time into the project and not the tools.

Is a gun not just a tool?. A fancy gun doesn't get the job done any better either but is a real pleasure to own and use.......for some ;D
