Post by: tippit on January 12, 2018, 12:55:56 AM
Got into the 70's here in Aiken, SC today.  Finally able to pour a Pewter Bolster and get some work done in my forge...tippit

I really like that blade shape. I think it is one of your best.  God Bless,   Marc

Finish on bone is Rit brown mixed with Denatured Alcohol (seems to give more color than mixed with water) and black flat spray on end of bone while it is wet & wipe off immediately.  Once pewter bolster was poured , let the entire knife soak in warm tea until I got some color on blade.
