Looks like nice work through out. I like it.

Excellent! These knives are a lot of work, I know! Good job

WH1:
Excellent knife. I don't know, but, I think that is also one heck of a rifleman's knife..... Just sayin...

That’s a beauty, for sure! Nice work!

Workmanship and attention to detail, fit, and finish is most pleasing. Good Job.

But that's a bonny knife, WH1!!

Looks awesome! Really like the bolster

Very nicely done. Exceptional workmanship!

Lovely design. I like the fineness of a fairly large knife. Too often, knives of this size are over built and heavy. I admire the craftsmanship and the flat grind following forging.

thank you for the comments.
I have been focusing on improving my forging to get closer to finish and only use a grinder to true up the spine and the profile a little and to remove some of the scale but use files and sand paper for everything else. I have a belt grinder but while it removes materiel quickly I remove too much too quickly so I like to do it old school on the work bench, it is also somewhat mentally therapeutic. the File filosophy thread in the shop tools section has been a great reference.

I like the blade but that gloss looking handle makes it look like one of those ubiquitous cheap plastic handled carving set knives. ::)

Anybody would be proud to carry that.

An elegant piece of workmanship.
