Title: Old Barn Auction Company
Post by: JTR on April 25, 2019, 10:02:36 PM
The May 17th / 18th auction has quite a few mid range rifles coming up. Number 804 is a nice looking Virginia rifle, maybe Henry Spitzer though the engraving doesn't seem to be up to his quality.
The on-line catalog leaves a lot to be desired, but they will send pictures on request.

I've had some good success there in the past!

Old Barn puts on a good show. Good advertising and usually a good crowd on auction day. I have found in the past that fair prices abound but sometimes things get run up by friendly collectors who just want it badly. Well worth getting there. There's another auction coming up, I think, in August or September, the catalog should be available next month.
