Title: DuPont black powder cans

Does anyone know where I can find any information on dating DuPont black powder cans?  I haven't had much luck.  Thanks   Phil

Parkinson;Sir, the (1) one pound red DuPont can with outstanding white, gray and black have a printed date at the very bottom of the label. Located between an Indian on horseback and what looks, to me, as a wild boar. July 1924 also second can with July 1923. 1924 can (priced in pencil, $1.60. Good luck hunting. AJ.

I was told the oval red cans with the small cap, all sport the same label. But cans stamped on the back “Made in USA” were made after WWII.
