Title: non-techi picture upload trial
Post by: L. Akers on May 30, 2019, 03:10:47 PM
Bench gun I built not too long ago.  The barrel is a 32 in. X 1 1/2 in. octagon, .50 cal. by Bill Large.  The lock is L&R.  The brass tube sight (no glass) is of my make.  Load is 90gr. 3F, .020 pillow ticking, neatsfoot oil lube, .495 ball.  Once sighted in, it puts all shots in the ten ring at 100 yds.  Weight is 17 lbs with the sight.

Well, two successes.  Picture upload went well, though a full length shot would be nice, and the rifle is really cool.

Yes, more photos would help.  But you built one heckuva rifle.
