A friend on another forum, just picked up this SxS shotgun in Alaska at an auction. He noted, for $130.00 he just
couldn't turn it down. These are the only 3 pictures he posted. Nice wood. He noted the bores were very nice.

I have owned 3 Blanch guns over the years that I remember, they were all good shooters and well constructed.

Yes correct buying a gun with a loose top rib can have unseen dangers under, it is a built up of rust that push the top rib off , would not say how many in that condition I have relayed , be careful
