I recently completed these two Silver British Officers Gorgets which have a neat double lobed form. This form was actually quite common with several extant examples still in existence. It was fun project end caused some head scratching to pull it off.I've included a photo's of an original and a period painting that served as inspiration.

Very, very nice! You have done a great job.
Did you perhaps use a wooden form to shape that double lobe shape? And is it of fine silver, or Sterling?
I am sure that any British officer would love to have worn one of your productions.

These were done in pitch as I believe the originals were.Gorgets were purchased by the individual and not something that was issued. Each one is a little different even with in a unit so I don't believe that they were done in quantity where making a form would be useful.

Fantastic work. To paraphrase a line from ‘Saving Private Ryan’; “Watch out boys, this sniper’s got talent.”
