Congratulations Mike Gahagan!
« on: November 03, 2010, 12:54:20 AM »
Just received my November 2010 issue of Muzzleblasts and found a beautiful Mike Gahagan rifle on the cover.  There is a nice article inside and several more good photographs of his work as well.  Mike does some fantastic work and it's nice to see him get recognized.

Thumbing through (always go too fast), I was stopped cold by the Davidson (copy as I found out) on p. 9.  That is some really nice work.

It seems to me he's been making very fine rifles for quite a while. Really top tier.

Thanks guys,
Paul Jones wanted to do this about five years ago,but I didn`t know if I I wanted an article done about me or not.I am glad now that I did and I really appreciate the work that he and David Wright put into it.Thanks also for the kind words from Jim Chambers and Bob Harn.

Hey Mike,

I haven't got my Muzzle Blasts yet, but I've seen enough of your work to know what to expect.  Any praise from those guys mentioned is an honor indeed; and well deserved, I might add.

All of Mike's work speaks of perfection.  This is well deserved recognition for a truely gifted builder.  Great article, and congratualations!  I think it would be nice if Muzzle Blasts would feature more articles like this about established, and not so established builders.
