Poor boy with odd guard

Saw this on a blanket today. Does the guard with the extra spur ring any bells?

There’s another spur past my hand. Quick snapshot missed the rear spur it but there’s that odd little spur near the bow. Gun is a halfstock with a rib. No buttplate.

What’s the question? It all matches. The lock doesn’t fit the mortise, the triggers don’t fit the stock, and it has the “Very Rare” beer opener triggerguard.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?
