Trying to get some opinions on this rifle
« on: February 20, 2012, 03:50:58 AM »
Trying to get some opinions here on this rifle.  Its mounted in mostly iron, seems to be a plains rifle but has some features I haven't come across before.  Click on the link and let me know what you think.

Is an overall view of the rifle, both sides, available?

Interesting rifle!  English?  Surely not. It could well be Midwestern, especially since it is stocked in walnut. What is the caliber? It appears fairly large.  Is there any trace of a name on the barrel?

Unfortunately it isn't signed and I don' think it is English.  Its at least 50 cal and other than that, we added some overall pictures of the rifle but couldn't get the whole thing in the frames.  Still looking for some help with it.
