Thank you for posting the pictures. Wheellocks are fasinating! I hope to try to make one someday. I have read Lauber's book several times and I think the shaping of the axel is the hardest part to visualize.

The trigger and the double sear are just like an English flintlock, and much more robust than the ordinance quality locks most Civil War muskets have in the UK. You are inspiring me to hammer out some more parts for my early trade gun project.

when, to build a set of twin mechanism whellock, I built two copies of , publish the next pics. When I finish work on the weapon he presents a complete picture, I hope it does not hurt
