Anyone out there know if there were any Northampton/Allentown/Lehigh makers with the initials "AS"?

The picture appears to be a wrist or thumb inlay. The initials are likely that of an owner. Can you please post pictures of the whole gun and its artistic features.

It is the rifle you recently submitted to the ALR museum uder "unknown". I can't find the#*$* link!

That's more than likely the original owner's initials.  Nothing on the barrel, over or under it?
