Passing of Ted Fellowes
« on: September 27, 2012, 02:45:37 AM »
I learned today of the passing of Ted Fellowes. He was a muzzleloading gun maker for 30 plus years. Maybe most known for his Beaver Lodge rifles. He was one of the founders of the Cascade Mountain Men and their yearly arms and art show in March. He was a good friend to so many of us and a mentor to many gunmakers. He was the first Gun Maker of the Year of the Washington Historical Gunmakers Guild. I will miss him as will many, many others. RIP Ted.

O the joys of getting old.   I never met Ted, heard many good things about him. and as a fellow gun builder I'm sure he
was one of the good guys.   As one gets older, he seems to check the obit's every day, and have lost a lot of good friends
over the past year.   My condolences to the Fellows family...........Don

I knew Ted Fellows. Have what he called his long barreled target rifle.

Think he was making rifles in 1967?? Great guy and always had kind words. His rifles were well made and affordable.

Dang. Death happens even to the best among us. And just did. He was an institution here in The Upper Left Corner.
