Another beauty. The architechure and beautiful lightly aged finish are wonderful. The color contrast between  worn and darkened areas just does it for me. I could keep going on.

I think Ian is doing for the Southern iron mounted longrifles what Jim Kibler is doing for brass mounted PA/VA longrifles
Great traditional lines and feel while at the same time unique, creative and groundbreaking.

I concur with all of these comments.  The rifle has a warmth and grace that defy you to love it.  I shall own one of Ian's rifles one day.

Ya' know, I'm trying to find the right words. I putter around building rifles after a fashion and feel I've developed some decent skills. And then I see this rifle by Ian. A guy like me looks at it as perfection. Ian, I'm sure can find things he would not like. I would darn near kill to own a rifle like that, let alone have the skill to build one on that level. Ian, this is as outstanding piece of artistry as I've ever seen. I can't wait to see more of your work.     Ron :) ;D
