Acer's "Rifle of Unknown Origin"

Enjoyed looking this rifle over while having my coffee today.  I like the premise behind it.
It's obvious a lot of thought went into this gun.  I think it accurately reflects the objective.
The resulting rifle is beautiful. 
    This morning's coffee visitor was a pilated woodpecker.  I got the spotting scope dialed
in on him.  Wow

Acer never fails to impress.

We've got Red Bellies, Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers all year here.  Plus a couple Thrush that like to do woodpecker impersonations.

As a kid, I started by carving roosters, and finally when the web was invented, I stumbled across Mike's website, chicken guns, made from scratch.

Tom.......I thought you guys were screwing with me, kept looking but couldn't see a rifle.  So much to see on that thing.   I
liked the patchbox release, I'm willing to bet that the release gets used more than the lock.   I always said, the patchbox is
there for other people to open.....think about it.  Also liked the way you put your name on the barrel, this is much more
difficult than script.   I hope this will be a keeper, at least until Dixon's..........Don

That's a great looking piece of work. Would like to pack it around for a day, bet it handles as good as it looks. Love the engraving on the furniture,.....nice rifle Acer.
