Anyone have any information about Josiah Clutz from Massillon Ohio.I have found a rifle in prime condition, and thinking about buying.

aolrc.org lists him as Knox/Stark Cty, this might help in searching for info on him.  Post pictures if you can.  I always like to see nice examples.  Good luck.

"Ohio Gunsmiths &  Allied Tradesmen " Vol. 4 . Born 1831 in Pa.  In 1866 he was listed as a gunsmith in Massillon Ohio .  1875 1876 gunsmith 95 W.main st Massillon.
1880 he reported a capital investment of $600 and employed only himself at $2per 10 hour day. For he tha ended May31 1880 he produced guns valued at $1000 out of materials that cost $150.
