.450 conical bullets

I realize this is not quite traditional, but there are some of the most knowledgeable people here.

I shoot several ball and cap guns, .451,  would a hollow conical bullets expand enough to shoot of it is only.450?  Round balls do the job nicely, conical would seem to improve accuracy.

At pistol range, I doubt it's worth the trouble.  I'd stick with the round balls.

If your gun shoots round balls well, the chances of it shooting conicals equally as well, is unlikely. The first shot with a conical is not the trouble, its the second one (if needed) that always causes problems. Tremendous amounts of fowling can make the second bullet hard to get down on the powder. Over the years I have examined nine guns destroyed by conicals not seated properly in the field.

Sorry, I just realized you are talking about a revolving pistol, not a rifle.
