Clarence LeMaster who was a friend that had a Quaker State gas station had two signs in his men's room over the urinal. One said."In it,not at it" and the other said "No cigarette butts in the urinal. It makes them soggy and hard to relight".

I shot a really big doe last year with my .62. Ball went straight through both lights and she still ran about a hundred yards the wrong way.

Nice buck, don't get a shot at one like that every day! A friend of mine shot a buck with his fullstock
Hawkin flint 54 and it followed a little creek for couple hundred yards then dropped dead in the middle
of a gravel road. All he had to do was back the truck up to it and throw it in!

Nice shot....nice deer...but that saying has always confused me...

I had always heard that Mark Baker was the technical adviser for Mel Gibson, and that he taught him the phrase....even so, what the heck does it mean?

Does it mean that if you aim at a tiny spot on the foe instead of center mass you are likely to miss all together? Or that if you aim at a tiny spot you are likely to only miss it by a tiny amount? I  much prefer "breathe in, breathe out...sight alignment, sight picture....and squeeze don't pull."

Just like shooting a Bow aim small miss small means pick a specific spot on the animal or target as you need somrthing to really bring your Eye to focus onto it, and don't forget form and  follow through.
