help identifying a perc. fowler
« on: December 01, 2014, 11:38:57 PM »
I am restoring an 1768 farm house in New Hampshire. I found this perc. fowler stuffed behind a roof purlin. I was wondering if I email pics to someone  could they post them? Im very curious what I have.
it has a oval stamp on the side flat near the breach. Inside is at the top an "E" under that an "L G" and under that a star. On the bottom of breech plug is a "T" with a crown over it?
Its unique in that the stock has a duck head carved into it on the bottom.

Any help from those knowledgable would be much appreciated.
