B.Lubroo Homburg Germany. Anyone know or have any information on this builder?  I won this gem.

Gardner "Small Arms Makers" 1963 has nothing.

"Der Neue Stockel" by Heer 1979 shows:
    B. Zubrod Homburg vor der Hohe,  Hessen-Nassau/D, ca 1840.  QO .  He also shows 3 more Zubrods ( H.C. ca 1780, J. ca 1740-1770, and Phillip ca 1800, all from Cronberg (Kronberg)Hessen-Nassau/D.
     No "Lubroo" is shown in either international source.  Look carefully at the barrel signature and I'll bet the "Zubrod" is correct with some missing silver inlay.
     No other info is in the book for these smiths.  Bill Paton

Very cool early Jaeger.  Probably what Johan Jost Schreckengast was hunting with in Germany when he was caught poaching and shot the Duke's dog that was pursuing him.  Got any history with it?  I'm in with Walnut.

Did not know it at the time. I am friends with the daughter of the man this whole collection cake from. She is going through beer dad records to see what she might find.  Only thing she remembered specific was it is 200+ years old. From what a couple posted that

Too bad about the sights.  Looks like maybe rear is mostly salvageable.

Loving those wings!  Wing`ed fasteners are sorely under-utilized these days! 

The "toe plate" looks to be a simplified German eagle.

So it was made as a designated Aardvark rifle ?  By the look of the cheek carving .  change the site.     ...Tom
