Springfield 1864 Musket

I am just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to get information regarding the Springfied 1865 Musket?  I am interested in buying one and want it to be period correct.  Thanks for any information regarding sources where I might buy one.

Randy, I assume you are referring to a first Allin (Model 1865 Springfield) go to this link and buy Dick Hosmer's book.  It is only $25 and will give you everything you need to know. He is a great guy and more than willing to help anyone who needs it. Best Regards, Jack
