The only flaw on any of those flintlocks is they aint in my possesion
Nothing beats the feel of a handmade southern iron mounted flintlock on a cold frosty morning

I am the proud owner of that late Virginia rifle. I gave Chuck some basic idea of what I wanted, and the artistic freedom to do the rest. I patiently waited several years. I couldn't be more pleased. Honestly the pictures don't do it justice.

Another very fine, skinny Chuck Edwards rifle!  You know it's skinny when you have to turn it sideways to see the wood around the barrel.  Thanks, Curt for letting me see one up close.

Chuck's engraving is becoming really good.  I saw some of his work at Lake Cumberland, recently, and was very impressed.

I saw this rifle on the Contemporary Makers blog today and there is a lot of good metal work and engraving in that rifle.    I am working on catching up with Chuck.

Beautiful gun done in in a contemporary styling of Jacob Young. I was the Int. Park Manager at the William Whitley house for a few years and spent a lot of time around the Rifle Young built for Whitley and Chuck has done of of the better job of taking styling and putting it into a contemporary piece.
