If it had fine engraving, I'd think Kunz-related due to the very formal design/outline of the box...but the engraving appears inferior to me. From what little we can see of the gun... and based on the guard's rear scroll, nicely checkered wrist, and the rays engraved just above the box hinge, I'd suggest New York or that vicinity. Definitely not KY, as Mr. No Gold suggested (perhaps due to the extended side leaves), or did he do so tongue-in-cheek? Shelby Gallien
