That's really a nice picture.  Man I wish we had squirrels around here.

Forgot to add some sika pics!  Flintlocks and kayaks always make for a nice, cooperative combo.  Nothing big as far as antler, but any of these buggers on public land is a triumph.

Nice job Osprey: that little water craft and all that cargo will be just as much challenge as getting the deer I would think.

I'm mighty glad to see this site! I read on another forum about a fellow getting basically 'chewed out' for posting a photo of his deer kill because there are 'some folks' that don't care to see dead animals! As I sat and pondered that situation the thought occurred to me that the folks that are so....shall we say...'sensitive' about seeing dead animals ride around on leather auto seats, walk on leather shoe soles, wear leather belts, etc. but apparently have never read from a very popular book that:

"And God said let man have dominion over beast of the earth and fowls of the air!"

I guess all those ribeye steaks, pork chops, and fried chicken are made in a factory up in Chicago!! :o :o

Turkey season started today here in Maryland.  Done for the day at 7:30AM, 13 yard shot with my 16ga, 110gr FF with 1.5oz lead #4's, cylinder bore.  Bird never twitched!

Got lots of ground squirrels! Don't think I'd eat one, though.
