Friendly persuader
« on: July 12, 2016, 04:13:32 AM »
Here's a little gadget I put together not too long ago, and have found myself using it frequently.  It works well to get those stubborn little edges of an inlay or patchbox to adapt to the contour of the inlet, in lieu of full size mallet.
It consists of a couple dollar Harbor Freight spring loaded center punch ground flat on the end and friction fitted into a little piece of nylon ramrod.

Simply brilliant!
When a nation forgets her skill in war, when her religion becomes a mockery, when the whole nation becomes a nation of money-grabbers, then the wild tribes, the barbarians drive in... Who will our invaders be? From whence will they come?
