Jacob Kuntz pistol

Being auctioned this weekend by Morphy. Different stock style than common with Kentucky pistols. This one I suspect has seen some serious restoration, but about 14 beautiful photos for study of Kuntz' engraving

Nifty pistol. Looks  to me like the thumb piece and the butt cap were engraved by a hand other than that who engraved the rest of the pistol. The signature on the lock plate seems to have been "restored" also.
