Glad to see you got the date straighten out!
I got it from a flyer @ The Fremont Living history Show and it had the wrong date!
Talked to Dave Cook and he set me straight!
Good show with lots of guns! Say Hi to Joe Valentine and Bob Elka for me!
Thanks
Steve

Great idea and let's pursue it with VIGAH.

Returned from the Lapeer show. Had a great time. Seen some nice contempoary guns an antiques. Met a couple fine folks from this sight. Nice to put faces with names . There was almost 97 tables set up for vendor's. Approximately 450 people attended. Missed one very good deal. Snoozed on it...one beautiful rifle .  Oh well can't buy them all...Oldtravler

Thanks Ron!
I have been a Ohio Hunters Ed instructor for 27 years.
I also teach youth rifle and archery during the summer at our local Izaak Walton League.
If we don't teach our youth; someday out passion may be gone!

Great show to talk with & meet people, including OldTraveler.

I go every year with my Michigan Gunsmiths book. Sold a couple to my co-author at cost. Bought a few brass thingys from Anson, chatted w Judy about NMLRA stuff & had a great time.
Dave Cook always has a couple of beautiful items, there is one very fine German style maker, don't know name, Bob Elka has some good guns and Jack DuPrey makes & displays Southern rifles. Last year Jack had that George Davis signed Michigan horn that was in February 2017 Muzzle Blasts & ended up in Rochester.

Personally I am no longer into most old-style clothing, save for a short red capote made of a Whitney blanket. I like pockets, buttons & belts. But you will see some interesting people there.

Show packed solid until about noon. I might have got around better were I not lacking in sleep & knee cartilage. That #@%&* date on my driver's license is an impediment.

I will go again next year if still this side of the snow.
