From his website:

"The Next Kit
The next kit, while not officially in the works yet, should be started in the next year.  It will be an earlier, bigger gun that can be carved and can be finished as a Pennsylvania or Virginia rifle.  "

Hello everybody.   There is a lot of excitment and anticipation aroun the next kit we will be offering.  Work has not begun on it, but will start very soon.  We've just completed the new shop, installed new stock making equipment and production is really going well.  In fact, the rate at which we can produce has doubled or tripled.   We'll be caught up with orders shortly and then the next task will be developing the new colonial period rifle.   We're super motivated, so this process shouldn't take too awful long.  I would expect it to be available sometime this fall.

All the best,
Jim

Jim,

I would love to see a .54!

I've seen your kits up close, and they are very well done.

I wish you continued success.

Martin

The kit I ordered from Jim arrived the other day and I am working on it as my physical condition allows.  I am very happy with the kit, it's right at my skill level, and the support for Jim and Katherine has been outstanding.  I am now a dedicated customer and I will be ordering from Kibler again.

I am taking pics along the way.  Just finished drilling and tapping the lock plate and the set trigger plate too.  Like I said I am taking my time due to post operation healing and also because I am just having so much fun with the kit that I am savoring the experience, kind of like a bottle of fine wine.
I will ask my son if he can take me through the picture posting process.  Never did that before.
