Metal Adhesive

I have been watching one of the builders videos that shows a brass cap being glued to the end of a wooden patchbox lid.  Does anyone know what kind of adhesive would glue brass to wood?

Normally, they are screwed on, but cyanoacrylate or epoxy would do.  I usually use epoxy to glue brass practice sheets to wood blocks for engraving practice.

As Mark mentioned, if you want it to stay on there, small screws or nails are your best choice, and not hard to do.

These two silver patch box covers are nailed on and glued with super glue. they are only .032 thick maximum. The nails are hidden in the engraving.
