Outstanding craftsmanship David!  I especially like the patchbox release mechanism, that is a difficult bit to pull off and you did it grandly!

Thanks for all the compliments and kind words.  I should finish up the buttstock carving on Wednesday then it is on to final surface preparation around the lock panel/wrist area which will allow me to inlet 6 more silver inlays and then the wire inlay on the check piece, in front of the patchbox and on top of the comb.  Pictures to follow in a few days.
