After looking at the pictures of the gun with the dismounted barrels, I'm thinking that the HL is probably not the maker but possibly an inspector's initials or those of the "barrel" maker. If they were the maker they would typically be on the top of the barrels. Either way, it appears to be a nice gun and 20 gauge makes it more desirable IMHO.
