Jim Kibler Rifle
« on: October 14, 2017, 04:57:31 AM »
I just wanted to post a little something about my visit with Jim Kibler today. Ive been looking at Jim’s smr kits for sometime, but wasn’t really sure if that was what I wanted. So I called Jim the other day and he invited me to his shop to check one out. All I can say is What a $#*! of a guy! Jim took me in and gave me a tour of his shop, impressive place he has there. I was on the fence about a mountain rifle until I actually held one in my hands. All it took was placing a gun on my shoulder and looking down the sights and I was sold. These kits are truly outstanding, especially for a beginner. He took time out of his day to explain the gun, and taught me how to draw file the barrel. Katherine was such a pleasure to talk to as well! These two make a terrific team and I hope nothing but success in their futures. Jim if you read this, thank you so much again, and I’ll get you some pictures of this bad boy once it’s done. Dave

He's definitely a finer fellow than I am. ;) I usually start tours of my place showing off the bullet hole in my shop door that my wife put there. ???

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

She's a great shot. There ain't a rabbit she's seen that she hasn't dispatched. Maybe I should quit wearing my bunny suit..... :o

Hi Guys,
This thread was originally a positive commentary on Jim Kibler and Katherine's shop and business.  We should try to keep it there.  Mike, keep wearing your bunny suit but maybe have your wife dye it bright pink or orange.  That way we will still have you around for a few more years.

No worries about things drifting off topic.  Sometimes makes things a little more interesting ;)

Dave,

Glad you had a nice time visiting.  It was a pleasure meeting you.

All the best,
Jim
