Foredom flex shaft machine with various polishing bits is the perfect thing for it.

I have used a Dremel tool on a couple of them and tinned the bottom of the pan with silver solder afterwards, I thought it might look more high end. It usually takes a lot more though to make any of my guns look high end.

I take a short piece of hickory ram rod, round the end to fit the radius of the pan,  chuck it in the drill, rub a little valve grinding compound on and shine it up.

x2 with the valve grinding compound.  I use one of those rubber polishing ball end bits designed for a Dremel, but chuck it in my drill instead.  Finish off by hand with that flexi emery you can buy at Lowes.  220g then 320g.
