Baker Rifle powder horn info
« on: November 10, 2017, 05:48:49 AM »
Greetings, I purchased powder horn castings from the TRS for my Baker rifle and im not sure how the spout is suppose to work. All the castings are brass with a steel casting shaped like a lolly pop, I assume this is a spring that somehow hold the measure in. How is the spring suppose to attach. Has anyone had any experience with this type of measure.
Thanks  Scott

I have one that I got in a trade but never looked at it that much. Bad news is, it is three states away and I won't be home until Thanksgiving.  If you don't get help before then I'll take mine apart and get some photos for you.

Thanks Sir, no rush. I think I have it figured out. I guess the spring holds the measure in by friction. I was just wondering if they held the spring on with a rivet or screw.  Thanks
