Tom Curran - Ramrod scraper
« on: December 09, 2017, 01:20:03 AM »
I was searching through posts on this forum (I'm pretty sure) and found a link to Tom Curran's blog where he discusses his barrel scrapers:
https://thosmachine.wordpress.com/

Does anyone know if the guy is still around? I sent a check to him almost a month ago and it has yet to be cashed and I don't know how to contact him electronically.

Failing that, does anyone know of a source for ramrod scrapers like the ones he makes? I'd rather not make my own.

I used to use an old hunting knife but when I got Acers tool I seen the light. It is so simple and effective anyone can use it and do a good job. His concept for the tool has been around for some time and it is one of those old ways are the best ways deals. I highly endorse his tool.   :)

I just bought a scraper from him a few weeks ago. You won't be disappointed with the scraper. PM him to purchase.

God knows he doesn't need the money! Aside from being wealthy, he's rich beyond measure.

Just wanted to say that the Tom Curran ramrod scraper worked well for me and I am a novice at this. easy to use. I had never before tried to make my own ramrod from a blank before and this tool made the job easy.
