Too Cold to Pour Pewter

This is SC, we are at our horse farm in Aiken for the winter to get away from the cold of Boston/New England.  Last night it got down to 14 degrees.  Got a small patch knife ready for a pewter bolster...But pewter just lumps up even when the blade is warm.

I feel your pain, Tippit, we are in eastern NC and have been in a deep freeze since Tuesday. 6" of snow with a 1" thick layer of ice under that.  We aren't used to this nastiness! Fun times!

Tippit,

Running ball up here can be hard work as well!   Been -20 to -30 -odd, and lead won't run if we try it in the fresh air. Better days coming.
