Woodbury style knife

7 or 8 years ago a fellow sold me a knife that I believe he got at Fort Frederick. A plain Forged 51/2 inch blade,pewter bolster,hidden tang in a small whitetail antler with a nice crown. The touch mark rectangular with the letter appearing to be a capital cursive A. I think he told me it was made by a State Trooper or a retired one.  I better than average knife , not a beginner . Any idea who made this knife .   Thanks for any help.

His name is Steve Auvenshine. He lives near Paris Ky.. You are correct. His work is very good.

You own a good knife. I have one of Steve's knives. His workmanship is excellent. Building a very usable knife.
