New / Old shotgun

Just got home with a new/old shotgun. 20 ga SXS, percussion, with 38" barrels. One ram rod thimble has been changed and a new ram rod put in place and original browning still good. I'm putting this thing at at least 85%. Gun is marked Powell who was an Ohio maker in Cinncinnatti. Can't make out the proofs on the barrels but they do not look British or Belgian, will keep on looking. This one will be busting clays at Friendship in June.

This prompts a question in my mind: what are the longest barrels on a double barrel that you have seen?

I saw one that had 42 inch barrels on gunbroker a few your ago. I would have bid but it was in pretty poor shape....Ed
