I mostly hunt deer and after that first shot, I always want to reload quickly even if the deer is down and in sight - sometimes they jump up and run.  I liked the idea of a cartridge box but that is too much.  I just need a couple of pre-rolled paper cartridges where I can get a hold of them quickly.  So I decided I'd make my own hunting pouch with a 3 shot loading block.

My flint wallet will fit in the bottom along with a turnscrew/flint hammer combo and a small pouch of extra balls.  extra patches go into one of the small pockets.  I think this will work for me.

Here are some photos of what I carry in my shot pouch. A long with the shot pouch I use a small belt pouch.
I carry a fowler and in this photo I had paper cartridges with shot, was turkey hunting, tow for wading and extra flints and turn screw along with my hunting tags.
