Long Rifle with H. Wright as Maker

Looking for information on a Long Rifle with maker name of H. Wright.  Any information on history and value would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!  Rod 704-798-0248

Henry Wright worked in Jamestown North Carolina. Will leave estimates of value to others.

It was about  ready for a couple inches to be cut off and set back.  That rifle didn't just hang on the wall, they used it.

I believe Hlbly is right around the mark. It being a Jamestown, with legible roman numerals and maker's name, helps some, especially if you sell it inside NC.  This rifle bares a strong resemblance to a Soloman H. Ward rifle I saw some years ago.

Around 80% of all Jamestown rifles I have seen or owned have a roman numeral stamped on the barrel (usually behind the rear site).  Each rifle when sold came with a Jamestown style bullet mold that has the same roman numeral stamped on the top flat.  That is how they knew which mold went with which rifle.
