German Jaeger/Boar rifle
« on: September 14, 2018, 06:49:06 PM »
I have for sale in the white or finished, a German Jaeger Boar gun.  It has a straight side 75 caliber rifled Getz barrel, Davis jaeger flintlock, Davis double set triggers.  The stock is super premium curly maple with sliding wood patchbox.  Has light incise carving behind cheekpiece.  1450.00 in the white or 1575.00 finished.  Questions welcome.

Hi Jackie,

The butt plate and trigger guard appear to be "as cast".  Is filing and polishing them included in the in-the-white price?  Thanks.

The buttplate and triggerguard will be sanded smoother than shown but not polished

That is a super nice rifle.  Though maple, it looks a lot like curly Ash in the pictures?
I like the caliber

I'll be taking the ad down soon to finish.  Let me know if interested in the white.
