Georgia Bag/Horn
« on: February 18, 2019, 10:21:34 PM »
Got the set put together. Marc's Bag #10 is super and very accurately compliments the original bag. The strap adjusts with a horn button sewn to back of the bag. The set was on display a year ago at the Georgia Museum of Art exhibition on Georgia Gun Makers.
The bands are carved from the horn body and butt is dogwood. Tool set handfiled and bullet block is also dogwood.

Thank you for looking at our work.
Ron

that is a very nice set.  Well done as always!  Simple but very nice lines and all of the components compliment one another.  Just needs to be with a nice iron mounted southern rifle!

Bag by itself nice looking, horn by itself nice looking, as a set they look like a Bride and Groom, made for each other. Nice work guys.

I don't know how many of y'all caught Ron's comment about those not being applied bands.  Those are carved from the horn itself, just like the original.  I was mighty impressed. I think his horn came out super.  Glad to be a part of this set. God Bless,   Marc
