Posted today Feb 20,2019 on contemporarymakers.blogspot.com is Master Marvin Kemper's excellent  rendition of John Small's " KINDIG RIFLE " from Vincennes, Indiana circa 1800.The Bryan R. Lewis Library in Vincennes houses a letter written by Joe Kindig , Jr which describes Smalls rifle " There are 17 exceptionally well designed and engraved silver inlays and an unusually beautiful patchbox ". John Small and Joe Kindig would undoubtedly be proud of Marvins fine work! Mr Kindig is reputed to be the first to recognize the American Longrifle as fine art. :) To see more of M Kempers creations go to www.libertylongrifles.com
