Here's a tomahawk I just finished up.

Finished this one and sold it at a gun show over the weekend.  Made out of  1"x 1 1/4" mild steel stock if I remember right. Punched eye and there's a spring steel bit forge welded in for the edge.

Justin,

Very nice work there, always feels good when someone want something you made. Would make for a good game processing and skinning axe with the shape of it I would speculate.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice axe Justin. The one thing I would have done different is the hammer pole. The shape of it reminds me of a roofing hammer. I'm sure that yours is very handy for pounding in steaks but originals had pretty small ones.

I think I could've sold 3 more if I had them there.  Tomahawks and flint and steel kits were very popular.

Hefty looking little hatchet. I’ve gotten spoiled with wrought iron, seems much easier to weld in forge. Pretty good accomplishment to get the bit welded in without burning up the MS.

Very nice hawk.  It has a "business like" look to it.
