A couple of flat wallets
« on: May 21, 2019, 03:01:20 AM »
Hi Folks,

A great friend saw my roll-up type wallets, and asked if I'd make him a replacement flat wallet (his current wallet is reaching old age).  He provided the dimensions, and I made the smaller of the two shown here.  I also made a longer wallet as a test, that will hold bills without folding.  It's the one with the cross.  The longer one is 4-5 ounce leather, while the smaller is 2-3 ounce leather.  I figure these are prototypes, and once he decides which features he likes from each, I can make him a final product.  For some odd reason these photos make the wallets look out of square.  They aren't.  Just the camera playing tricks.  Best wishes, and God Bless,   Marc

Nice work Marc...those are both very handsome. I don’t know about your friend, but I’d have a hard time picking a favorite!

Many thanks for the kind words.

Another friend asked for a plain version, and I think I like the simpler look too.  I may have a handle on how to get the russet color now.

Best wishes, and God Bless,   Marc
