lock ID help

I bought this lock from a friend (now departed) several years ago when he decided he wasn't going to be able to built the rifle he had planned for it.  I'm pretty sure he bought it in the late 70's--maybe early 80's.  I have searched Muzzle Blasts for advertising but have turned up nothing.  The lock is marked with AGC in an oval and the number 475 underneath.  I'm assuming the number is a serial number but who is/was AGC?  This is a nice quality lock with raised bearings on the tumbler and sear.  All parts are highly polished and are very robust.  The fly is almost 3/32" thick!  Any help as to maker will be appreciated.

I think it's an  Al Schillinger lock.He was a former tool maker for an airplane maker,maybe
Boeing and made locks,maybe triggers and Hawken type rear sights.These locks have a
good reputation and if you have a NOS one,that's a find.
The AGC means Antique Gun Components.

Schillinger made an excellent lock
  I still have one left.  Thinking about having a mold made to replicate his rear sight

Thanks fellas.  I have heard of Schillinger locks so it's nice to know I have one.  Bob, it is new old stock and you can tell it was made by a tool and die maker; the screws are threaded just far enough to snug down as they perfectly trap their part.

Mr.Schilliger was a master of his trade and I welcomed him as a competitor.
I was saddened to hear he has passed away and I can't recall the time frame
or what happened to take him away.
There have been other lock and trigger makers such as P.I.Spence in Marietta,
Ohio who was still active past 90 years of age.W.G.Sutter,Ted Cole,Chet Shoults
and then Siler and Russ Hamm.There were others but I can't remember the names.
The rear sight for a Hawken Don Stith mentioned is a good looking one and at one time
was available as an above average casting but it vanished.Maybe Mr.Schillinger was
the producer of it as a casting. I know he made some that not castings and they sold fast.
