Hi all
Hope some can tip me on a maker of flintlock guns, the style I like is the German Jeager, full stock.
Thanks for looking

You might try an inquiry with Jim Chambers, he has contacts in Germany. I suspect you are not going to find much available there. There are a few us here in the US interested in Jaeger Rifles.
Check my website www.ronaldscottflintlock.com

Shortly before his premature death Ron Ehlert sent me a copy of a book on Jaeger Rifles which is written in German. Jim and Barbie have this book I know. Title is:
"Steinschloss-Jaegerbuchsen
Kunstwerke der Buchsenmacher aus dem 18. Jahrhundert"
This book is awesome, and if anything more detailed has been published on Jaeger Rifles I'm unaware of it. Over 500 pages of photographs and descriptions. Unfortunately, ich nein sprechen Deutsch, so I can't read any of it! (can't write it either, can I!) ;D

Check with Jim or Barbie, I believe they have a translation available for this book. Then again I might have dreamed it!

Hi, do you want makers of modern muzzle-loading jaegers? Or did you want information on antique jaegers?

Hello
Thanks for the information. Great help and I need that book for sure.
So, I was also seeking information on makers of Jaeger muzzleloaders today, if I can find one who are doing that.

Woodsrunner - Jim Chambers, www.flintlocks.com, has an English translation available for that wonderful Jaeger book.
